What we fix
Every part of a sliding door, and the ones next to it
Most sliders fail at one of four points: the rollers underneath, the track they run on, the hardware you touch, or the glass itself. We carry parts for all four on the van.

Sliding door repair
A sliding door that fights you is almost never one broken thing. It is a chain: a worn roller drops the panel, the panel scrapes the track, the track deforms, and the frame starts taking loa…

Roller replacement
Four wheels the size of a matchbox carry between 80 and 250 pounds of glass, two inches off the ground, in a channel that collects water and grit. When they fail — and on the coast they all …

Glass in a door is not the same as glass in a window. Building code requires tempered safety glass in any door panel, and getting it wrong is both a legal problem and a real hazard. We measu…

Four steps, no surprises on the invoice
You call or send the form
Someone picks up, day or night. Tell us what the door is doing — dragging, jumping, not locking — and we will usually know the part before we arrive.
We diagnose on site, free
The technician lifts the panel, checks the rollers, track, frame square and hardware, then shows you what he found. No charge to look.
You get a fixed price first
A written number before any work starts, with the repair option and the replacement option side by side. You choose. The price does not move afterwards.
We fix it and clean up
Most jobs finish in one visit because the parts are already on the van. We vacuum the track, test the door with you, and take the old hardware with us.
Before & after
This is why your door screams
A slider is only as good as four small wheels
Every sliding door in San Diego County rides on roller assemblies the size of a matchbox. They carry between 80 and 250 pounds of glass, and they sit two inches off the ground where water, grit and salt air collect. When they go, everything above them starts to fail too.
- Dragging or screeching means the wheel has stopped turning and the housing is now grinding along the track.
- A door that lifts off the track is riding on a collapsed roller, and it is a security problem as much as an annoyance.
- Waiting makes it more expensive. A seized roller cuts a groove into the aluminium track, and then the track needs replacing too.
Our crew
You get a specialist, not a general handyman
We do sliding doors and the windows next to them. Nothing else. That is why the parts are already on the van and why most jobs finish in one visit.
- Uniformed and identifiable. You will know who is at the door before you open it.
- We show you what we found. The old part comes out and goes in your hand before the new one goes in.
- We clean up. The track gets vacuumed and the old hardware leaves with us.

Questions
What homeowners ask us first
How much does sliding door repair cost in San Diego?
Most residential repairs land between $185 and $650. Roller replacement on a standard two-panel patio door is at the lower end; adding track replacement or a tempered glass panel moves it up. We quote a fixed price on site before starting, and the estimate visit itself is free.
Can you repair my door, or do I need a new one?
Repair is possible far more often than people expect. If the frame is square and the glass is sound, replacing rollers and servicing the track restores the door for a fraction of replacement cost. We recommend a new door only when the frame is rotted, racked out of square, or the manufacturer's hardware is no longer made.
Do you carry parts, or is this a two-visit job?
The vans carry roller assemblies, track caps, mortise locks and handles for the systems common in San Diego housing stock — Milgard, Andersen, Pella, Arcadia and the aluminium sliders in most homes built before 1990. Those finish in one visit. Custom glass is the exception: it is measured on the first visit and fitted when the tempered unit arrives, typically five to seven days.
Why does my door get harder to open every year?
Coastal air is the usual culprit. Salt accelerates corrosion inside the roller bearings, and the fine grit that blows into the bottom track works like grinding paste. Homes within a few miles of the water often need roller service every seven to ten years, while inland properties in Escondido or Poway can go considerably longer.
Are you really available 24/7?
The phone is answered around the clock. Scheduled repairs run during normal hours, but a door that will not lock or a shattered panel is a security emergency and we will come out to secure the opening the same night.
How far do you travel from San Diego?
Roughly 75 miles, which covers all of San Diego County, south Orange County as far as San Clemente and Laguna Beach, and the Temecula valley in Riverside County. Enter your ZIP code above to confirm, or call us — we travel past the boundary for larger jobs.
